Bois de Boulogne |
Bois de Boulogne is a 865 hectare wood on the west side of Paris (select side ;) It is the favourite place for cyclists, runners and walkers… and lovers around the lake.
You’ll have a chance to rent a small boat (nearly entirely watertight!) and, why not, to rest on a small island and enjoy a picnic. Bois de Boulogne also offers visitors many sporting amenities, tracks, a swimming pool, and nice leisure activities: race track, cafes and restaurants, playgrounds and picnic areas…
Tips: Avoid Bois de Boulogne at night, since it becomes a red light district! Best time to relax: week days in the afternoon.
